  慶應義塾大学とパリエコールノルマールシューペリュールが先導する、新たな日仏研究協力立ち上げを記念して
  「脳科学と人間・社会の出会い」-論理思考と社会認知を中心とする脳科学の日仏文理融合シンポジウム（ReasoningCog 05）
  が2005年12月19日～21日にかけて開催された。この共同企画の講演内容に基づく論文集。

  This symposium was planned and organized as a part of the collaborative project between the Ecole Normale Superieure, Paris, and Keio University.
  The Department of Cognitive Studies at the Ecole Normale Superieure and the Center of Integrated Research on the Mind(CIRM) at Keio University took the initiatives in planning and organizing it.
  This Volume provides an almost comprehensive perspective of multifarious aspects of the contemporary research on reasoning and cognition and consists of the following four parts:

  　2 Philosophical and Psychological Foundations of Reasoning and Cognition;
