    岩槻邦男:1934 年兵庫県生まれ。兵庫県立人と自然の博物館名誉館長。日本植物学会会長、国際植物園連合会長、日本ユネスコ国内委員などを歴任。94 年日本学士院エジンバラ公賞受賞。2007年文化功労者。16年コスモス国際賞受賞。著書に『生命系』(岩波書店)、『ナチュラルヒストリー』(東大出版会)など。
