  都留文科大学語学教育センター准教授。専門は応用言語学、英語教授法、第二言語習得研究。ブリストル大学大学院で修士号（Master of Education）、チチェスター大学大学院で修士号（Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages）、静岡大学大学院で博士号（PhD in Education）を取得。
